The Brief
Tanpopo Japanese food have been supplying restaurants, grocery stores, Universities and many more outlets successfully for over 10 years. With the captive audience of over 10,000 students, Tanpopo have identified partnerships with leading Universities to occupy a key retail and catering location to provide quality food cooked on site at great prices.

Spaceworks were asked to provide a design that ensured swift service and flow around a self serve and serve over hot counter – as well integrating a chilled product offering and drinks and pick up snacks.

The style was to reflect the values and origins of the food whilst creating a punch and individual style.

The Solution
Spaceworks led the creative and technical design stages including concept design, survey and space planning of each of the University sites.

Our programme and project management ensured we feathered into the University facilities as we completed the full installation of the commercial kitchen equipment and retail area.

We’ve been fortunate to have delivered sites for Kimiko at Imperial College London, Royal Holloway and Birmingham University.
