Space Planning
An initial site visit is essential to gather information and evaluate the existing characteristics of your space. We will take full dimensions, review and map current installations and note any building constraints. Using existing plans and translating your brief, diagrams and layouts can be produced to visualise spatial relationships between areas, defining zones, planning the placement of the furniture to ensure efficient use of space and deliver the optimal customer journey.
Interior Design
We will research your market, products and customer profile to inform our creative thinking – brainstorming ideas that we start to visualise in sketch detail using mood board imagery before we progress into building an electronic 3D model of your space and coloured visuals for you to accurately imagine the proposed design.
Fixtures and Fittings
Retail is detail and we are sticklers for getting things just right when it comes to your merchandising systems, counters and shelving. Timber, Plastics, Glass, Metal and more – we have experience and the knowledge to be able to work with all materials and mesh these together to make your bespoke in store furniture systems challenge off the shelf solutions every time.
Project Management and Fit Out
During the lead up to your project start date and in the construction phase, we are meticulous about our planning and deadlines focussing on a quality end result. Arranging pre-start meetings, issuing final drawings packs, circulating programmes and assessing health and safety considerations are just some of the activities we’ll be focusing on. We’ll ensure you’re kept UpToDate on progress with weekly reports, regular site meetings and inspections and with our robust approach to safety always; your space, staff and customers are in safe hands.
Project Handover and Review
On handover we’ll supply all the certificates, maintenance details and training on items as required. We’re here to help and to ensure your project works for you, with reviews and check ins after trading has commenced to identify any tweaks and suggestions for continued improvement in your future projects.

Kate and Michael both met while working for leading shopfitting companies delivering design and fit out projects for many high street national chains and leading brands.
Between us we have over 30 years of experience in the industry and 7 years ago we decided to bring our passion and knowledge together into our own business – Spaceworks Interiors was born! Today we love working with the independent retailers and businesses – offering our learnings and experience so we can help you make a difference on the high street.
